  • From data side, trial.expired is okay for tenants that are truly churned/cancelled in Zoho. Data team corrects them, so they won’t be treated as trial drops.

  • But please dont use trial.expired for unpaid customers that are not cancelled in Zoho yet: keep unpaid/dunning/cancelling until Zoho is cancelled, otherwise data can mark them as churned too early -> affect our churn metrics.

  • This small check can later expand to a project of reviewing customer status lifecycle.
